Golfing
On Friday night Chase and I went up to South Mountain Golf Course cause I had never been there with him before, and he always says how cool it is and how it has the best views of everything. We had so much fun! I love driving the cart and soakin up the sun, and he just loves golfing, so it works out well for us. I know this is a short post, but at least it's somethin right?!

Friday the 13th
We had a pretty interesting Friday! I was sitting at work at about 4:15 and got a call from Chase saying “Don’t panic, I am fine, but I just got in a pretty bad car accident and my truck is on it’s side in the middle of I-15.” Oh. Ok. And I am not supposed to panic. So I of course panicked. All I could do was ask him if he was ok, I was in shock. So I got off the phone with him and panicked more because I didn’t even ask him where he was or any of the details. Well it turns out he was driving southbound on I-15 and a lady lost control of her car and hit one other car, slid across the freeway into Chase’s truck, spun him sideways and the truck tipped over and skidded down the freeway for a while. Yeah. And he did not even have a cut or bruise on him. None of the glass in the truck even broke. He was so blessed and we feel so grateful that he was not hurt. He has had a pretty sore back for the last few days, but we will take that any day! It was pretty crazy and he just kept saying all night “did that really happen?” And then I pretty much mauled him for the next couple of days :) I couldn’t get enough of him and I just wanted to be right next to him constantly! I think I drove him a little nuts. So those are the pictures, it’s a pretty crazy sight! One of the guys Chase works with told him that if anyone ever tries to tell him that Friday the 13th is unlucky, he can show them these pictures and tell them he walked away without a scratch!! So it was a pretty crazy day but we are so grateful that he is ok and that no one else was hurt either.

Just a little update...
Because I was pressured into it ;) I really am horrible at writing new posts so I'm sorry. Well most of our time is spent on our callings lately. We both now have 2 callings. Chase is the executive secretary and the ward membership clerk and I am the secretary in the young women's and just recently became camp director! I am SO excited for it! I am totally nervous and I hope I can do a good job, but I think it is gonna be such a blast! So we have both been spending lots of time with that. Also, I joined a gym so I have been spending quite a bit of time there every night too. We have had a really good year so far, and our holidays were a lot of fun. We got to spend time with all 4 sets of parents and with most of our siblings as well, so that was really nice. We were also able to get 2nd row tickets to the Vegas Bowl to watch BYU play. It was a total bummer that they lost but it was SO fun and such a cool experience to be that close! There isn't much for us to do in Vegas, but we had a good time just walking the strip and hanging out. So now we are pretty much just hanging out and getting excited for Amy, Caleb and Ethan to come home. It is so crazy that it is almost time for all of them to be back! I can't wait! Anyway, thanks to all of you for being better than I am at updating your blog, I love reading about what everyone is doing!

Just call me Mrs. Blogs-a-lot
Aren't I just so good at this blogging thing? Yeah, I think so too. Yes I haven't posted since September, but I really like to build suspense so you never know when my next one will be. Pretty smart eh? Yeah, I really am just kinda lazy about the whole thing :) Every day I think "hm, I should write a new post today," and then I just don't cause I am cool like that. Plus I am pretty sure that my life is pretty boring compared to people with kids and stuff, so I don't always have stuff to write about. Kinda like right now. We had a good Halloween, nothing to write home about. Or blog about really. So anyway, this is why I don't blog. Because it ends up just being pointless like this. So I am going to be done now. Hopefully something exciting will happen sometime soon so I can blog about it :)

This is real, this is me!
Seriously, I really am updating!! Wahoo! Well since I haven't posted a real entry since the beginning of July, I will try to remember everything that has gone on. Wish me luck. Oh, and I don't have my camera with me so there will be no pictures. I will try to get them on another post tomorrow. Sorry.
In the middle of July I went to Girls Camp and let's just say that is exactly where I'm supposed to be. We have the best young women in the world, and not just because they are mine. They really are. We went for 4 days and 3 nights and every single minute was amazing. I just love the girls I serve with and I am pretty sure we weren't very good examples to the girls about being quiet when they were supposed to go to bed at night :) We almost had a few accidents. It was such a good time and I PRAY that I am still in Young Women's next year for camp. I love it.
Then, an hour after I got home from girls camp my family left for a camping trip, but don't you fret, I made sure that I had enough time to shower in between. Everyone was happy about that. We went up to a camp ground in Mantua and it was so fun. We had planned to go to the lake all day on Saturday, but when we got there it said that it was "closed by the health department, so swim at your own risk, but it may cause swimmers itch." Yeah, we had a really hard time making that decision. So we went back and we all played by the creek where they had a rope swing, so we still had a really good time. Then we just hung out and spent time together and it was a blast!
Around the end of July, I got a call from a kid named Cass that I was really good friends with at college and he said he was going to be in town so we should try to get our group of friends from college to go to dinner and then hang out. So I think it was the last weekend in July, we all met up and went to Olive Garden in Salt Lake then we went to Boondocks and went mini golfing. It was seriously so much fun. We all acted like we hadn't ever been apart. It is so fun to see what everyone has been up to and how much everyone's lives have changed. One of them even has a baby!!! So crazy!! I loved that time in my life and that night was so fun to remember all those good times and laugh at how gay we were. Also, I have to thank my cute hubby for going with me and for how well he gets along with all my friends from college. It is awesome! So that was definitely a highlight of my summer, and I think we should do it again soon!!
The first weekend in August we had Youth Conference, and I can't even say enough about how much I loved that! We went and did the program they do at Snow College, and I think that everyone should have the opportunity to do that at some point in their life. It is so fun and such a good way to get the youth to work together and get to know each other better. Plus, I felt like I was in high school again. It rocked.
Then the rest of August was just kinda same old same old :) Lots of swimming and barbeques and sun. And I am so sad that it is over. This was such an awesome summer, I couldn't have asked for more. So that is pretty much the summary of my summer in a few paragraphs. And now I will leave you with a list of random things I love:

Snow cones from the place in Peterson's parking lot
Summer evenings
Driving with the windows and the sunroof down and a good song playing on the radio
When Chase kisses me on the forehead with two day old scruff
Watching the sunset on a blanket at the park
Pedicures
Riding in the cart while Chase golfs
Chase
The anticipation of my birthday getting closer
Shopping when I DO have money
Flip Flops
Updating my blog :)
I love life. This is exactly where I'm supposed to be. I hope everyone enjoyed summer as much as I did. Love you all!!
